ASSIGNMENT 3

Once upon a time in a far away suburbia there was a teenage girl named Cindy. She was a smart girl, not very popular but unique in her own way. Cindy had 2 older sisters, who would never be recognized to be even related to her. Cindy kept things the way she liked and did what she wanted to, but with a very low profile. She was the kind of girl who in every chick lit teenage movie is basically invisible to the naked eye, gets a makeover and becomes the it-girl.  After living the simple life for 17 years, came the night that changed everything; homecoming. Cindy was very sceptical on going, but the next thing she knew, she was at her school, wearing a dress. She paced around the hallways for a while, trying to decide whether to go or to leave before anyone sees her. She felt seen. TOO seen. Cindy took a deep breath, opened the gym door and soon lost herself in the crowd. She sighed in relief when she realized that there was no eyes on her. ASSIGNMENT 2

It was a day I will never forget. The day my world collapsed down to my feet. The day started like any other, not very well. I was angry and frustrated, even worse by usual because of the lack of sleep I got the night before. Nothing went to plan; I dropped my favourite mug to our marble floor and it shattered to a million pieces, my dog ran away because I had left the door open while taking out the trash, I even lost my charger and had to go with no battery on my phone. It was like a huge domino effect had fallen over my life, and did not plan on stopping.  After a while of everything falling apart, I did too. I screamed into my empty house at the top of my lungs for as long as I could, and collapsed to the floor. ''I might as well ruin everything now, why would it matter?'' I thought to myself as I picked myself up and walked to the kitchen. I got to the fridge and looked at the empty shelves. I don't even know how long I've been at home, but I sure knew that...

ASSIGNMENT 1

MY RECIPE FOR A GOOD TEXT This recipe has personally been very good for me, and it has helped me through every thought block and assignment very well. It may not be the most healthy option, but I don't mind as long as I get my work done. Ingredients: -a 500 ml can of caffeine -a good atmosphere for the moment -at least an hour of backround noise such as music or a sit-com until ready -100 grams of nerves -a good view on the subject -15min brakes every hour Steps: 1. Go to the store and get the caffeine, and if you're hungry, eat beforehand. 2. Find a good place to think and write; your room, a cafe, whatever works at the moment for you. Make sure there's no distractions that will harm your concentration. 3. Put some music or the TV on. I like to put on a sit-com, because I don't have to concentrate on it but it creates a calm and social atmosphere around me, even if I'm alone. 4. Let the subject sink into your thoughts and think of a point of view to write the text...
